Last week, we attended our first ever Trade Show as exhibitors and, wow, what a whirlwind two days it was! The VM & Display show at The Business Design Centre was jam-packed with impressive visual displays, talking points, masterclasses and hundreds of great contacts in the Visual Merchandising world to connect and network with! We were lucky enough to have a great spot in the POPAI zone with not only some great neighbours, but a good view of the seminars and workshops taking place over the two days, including POPAI's Spring Shopper Seminar - featuring brands such as Shark Beauty, L'Oreal and Primark - and masterclasses on sustainability, digital experiences in store and shopper marketing.
During our time at the exhibition, we held a competition on our stand for visitors to the show to race our "Melita Speedway" - the fastest time to complete three laps of the track would win a weekend away of their choice. The top end of our leader board ended up being so close, we expanded our prize range to First, Second and Third!
All prize winners have been contacted and received their winnings, but if you've not been lucky enough to make the top 3 this occasion, fear not - we're already making plans to be back next year with another fun challenge to take on!
It's been brilliant to take part in the show and connect with some new and familiar faces there - we hope to speak with you all again soon and that this is the start of some beautiful friendships indeed...
