We are thrilled to share some exciting news from our team here at Melita POS! Our Leicestershire-based family business has been named as a finalist in four categories at this year's East Midland Chamber Awards - a remarkable achievement for our very first time entering! This recognition highlights our dedication to excellence and innovation within the industry as we compete among the region's top businesses.
We have been short-listed as finalists in the following categories:
Outstanding Growth
Excellence In International Trade
Small Business of the Year
Leicestershire Entrepreneur of the Year (for our very own Managing Director, Dan Jacques!)
Dan Jacques expressed the team's excitement saying, "We are absolutely thrilled to be finalists in four different categories across the East Midlands Chamber Awards. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of our entire team. I couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together, and being acknowledged alongside some of the region's best businesses is an incredible honour - especially as this is our first time entering these awards."
Melita POS has been a leader in end-to-end POS and merchandising solutions for over 25 years, uniting the diverse services of design, manufacturing, warehousing, merchandising and installation under one powerful brand, following our amalgamation of Display Logistics, DL Manufacturing and KK Installations late last year.
Despite our growth and transformation we remain a proud, family-owned and managed business. This strategic move marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter with an ambitious program of investment and growth led by our MD Dan Jacques, alongside Company Director Emily Havard, Operations Director Rich Metcalf, Production Director Glynn Parker and Warehouse Director Mark Jacques.
From our beginnings as Display Logistics, founded by Steve and Shivena Jacques in 1997, Melita POS has earned a stellar reputation for our commitment to quality and innovation and are now poised and ready with ambitious plans for international growth, all while staying deeply committed to supporting the economic success of our hometown, Leicester.
